Sean Stillwell is an artist and architectural designer with over a decade of experience working in both commercial and residential architectural firms, as well as multiple custom design & fabrication studios. In addition to creating original interactive sculpture, Sean is a Project Manager at San Francisco’s One Hat One Hand, where he leads teams of designers and fabricators in creating large scale sculptures, stage designs, interior design, immersive exhibits, public artworks, and more. His work includes parametric & 3D design, metal & mixed media fabrication, rapid prototyping, LED programming, mapped projection, and immersive experience design in AR/VR. Sean explores human perception and our attempts to make sense of our existence, drawing on concepts rooted in scientific exploration, quantum consciousness, spirituality, philosophy, transhumanism, mythology, and psychedelia.
